06 जून, 1984 को अमृतसर स्थित दरबार साहिब यानी स्वर्ण मंदिर परिसर में भारतीय सेना ने प्रवेश किया। सेना ने स्वर्ण मंदिर को चारों ओर से घेर लिया। भारी गोलाबारी और संघर्ष में सैकड़ों लोगों की मौत हुई।

On 06 June 1984, the Indian Army entered the Darbar Sahib i.e. Golden Temple complex in Amritsar. The army surrounded the Golden Temple. Hundreds of people died in heavy shelling and clashes.
