(ਤੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ) ਕੋਈ ਮੰਗਤਾ ਭਿੱਛਿਆ (ਮੰਗ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ) ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤੇ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਢਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ) , (ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ) ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣ ਕੇ (ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ) ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (ਉਹ ਇਸ ਆਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ) ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੌਡੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ) (ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਲੱਡੂ ਭੋਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਕਈ ਸਲਾਹਾਂ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਢਾਂਹਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬੱਸ! ਇਹੀ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੈਥੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੈਥੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ) । ਮੈਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਖਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਜੋ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ) ਚੰਗਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।



(तेरा आसरा भुला के ही) कोई भिखारी भिक्षा (मांग-मांग के) खाता है (और गरीबी में निढाल हो रहा है, (तुझे भुला के ही) कोई मनुष्य राजा बन के (राज में) मस्त हो रहा है। किसी को आदर मिल रहा है (वह इस आदर में अहंकारी है), किसी की निरादरी हो रही है (जिस कारण वह अपने मानव जन्म का कौडी मूल्य नहीं समझता) (कोई मनुष्य मन के लड्डू तोड़ रहा है, अपने मन में ही) कई सलाहें बनाता है और गिराता है, बस! यही सोचें सोचता रहता है। पर, हे प्रभु! तूझसे बड़ा कोई नहीं (जिसे भी आदर मिलता है, तुझसे ही मिलता है)। मैं कोई भी ऐसा आदमी नहीं दिखा सकता जो (अपने आप ही) अच्छा बन गया हो

ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਸਾਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਸਰਿਆਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੜਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਵਾਪਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤੋਂ) ਨਾਹ ਵਿਸਰ। ਜੇਹੜੀ ਗਾਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਨਾਹ ਦੇਵੇ ਉਹ ਗਾਂ ਕਿਸ ਕੰਮ? ਜੇਹੜੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਨਾਹ ਹੋਣ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ। ਉਹ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਕਾਹਦਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸਲਾਮ ਨ ਕਰੇ? ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਹਨੇਰੀ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ।



हे प्रभु! तू मुझे क्यों विसारता है? तेरे बिसरने से मुझे बड़ा आत्मिक दुख होता है। हे प्रभु! (मेहर कर, मेरे मन से) ना विसर। जो गाय दूध ना दे वह गाय किस काम की? जिस पक्षी के पंख ही ना हो उसे और कोई सहारा नहीं, वनस्पति पानी के बिना हरि नहीं रह सकती। वह बादशाह ही कैसा, जिसे कोई सलाम ना करे? इसी तरह हे प्रभु! जिस हृदय में तेरा नाम ना हो वह एक अंधेरी कोठी ही है।

ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਮ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂਸੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤਰਜਮਾ, ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ (1563–1606) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਕਲਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਸਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ; ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਇਸਨੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ 115 ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਸ ਪਾਠ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।




Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal living Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion. The Adi Granth, its first rendition, was compiled by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev (1563–1606). Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, did not add any of his own hymns; however, he added all 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib and is sometimes also referred to as Adi Granth.

(हे संत जनो!) खोटी मति (जैसे) शराब है जो मनुष्य ये शराब पीने लग जाते हैं (जो गुरु का आसरा छोड़ के खोटी मति के पीछे चलने लग जाते हैं) वे दुराचारी हो जाते हैं वे (विकारों में) पागल हो जाते हैं। पर, हे नानक! जो मनुष्य परमात्मा के नाम के श्रेष्ठ रस में मस्त रहते हैं उनको सदा-स्थिर रहने वाले परमात्मा के नाम का अमल लग जाता है।

Today, I received 10 samples for testing in my lab. All were *negative*. If I declare all negative, then these 10 samples will not give me more income tomorrow. Thinking about this, I declared 4 out of these as *positive*.

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਕੁੱਲੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ (ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਪਰ) ਉਹ ਪੱਕੇ ਮਹੱਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।



हे भाई! वह छपरी ही अच्छी है जिस में (रहने वाला मनुष्य) प्रभु के गुण गाता रहता है। (पर) वह पक्के महल किसी काम के नहीं, जिस में (बसने वाला मनुष्य) परमात्मा को भुला देता है।

NASA powers up Ingenuity Mars helicopter in space for the First time

NASA's Mars helicopter, named Ingenuity, successfully powered up for the first time in space.
Ingenuity is the first helicopter designed to fly on another planet. It is currently travelling to the Red Planet - Mars - aboard NASA's Mars 2020 Perseverance rover, which launched on July 30, 2020. 


On August 7, the helicopter's six lithium-ion batteries were powered up and charged for the first time in space. The 4-lb. (1.8 kilograms) Ingenuity, which is currently stowed beneath Perseverance's belly, receives its charge from the rover's power supply, according to a Thursday, August 13, 2020 statement from NASA.

ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਮ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂਸੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤਰਜਮਾ, ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ (1563–1606) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਕਲਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਸਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ; ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਇਸਨੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ 115 ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਸ ਪਾਠ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal living Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion. The Adi Granth, its first rendition, was compiled by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev (1563–1606). Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, did not add any of his own hymns; however, he added all 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib and is sometimes also referred to as Adi Granth.

Tribute to Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Atal Bihari Vajpayee (25 December 1924 – 16 August 2018) was an Indian statesman who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India, first for a term of 13 days in 1996, then for a period of 13 months from 1998 to 1999, followed by a full term from 1999 to 2004. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he was the first Indian prime minister not of the Indian National Congress to serve a full term in office. He was also noted as a poet and a writer.


He was a member of the Indian Parliament for over five decades, having been elected ten times to the Lok Sabha, the lower house, and twice to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house. He served as the Member of Parliament for Lucknow, retiring from active politics in 2009 due to health concerns. He was among the founding members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), of which he was president from 1968 to 1972. The BJS merged with several other parties to form the Janata Party, which won the 1977 general election. In March 1977, Vajpayee became the Minister of External Affairs in the cabinet of Prime Minister Morarji Desai. He resigned in 1979, and the Janata alliance collapsed soon after. Former members of the BJS formed the BJP in 1980, with Vajpayee its first president.

Tribute to Mohd. Rafi: December 24, 1924 – July 31, 1980

Mohammed Rafi was an Indian playback singer. He is considered as one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent.



Rafi was notable for his voice, versatility and range; his songs were varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs.



He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona and style of an actor, lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie. He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award. In 1967, he was honoured with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India.



In 2001, Rafi was honoured with the "Best Singer of the Millennium" title by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine. In 2013, Rafi was voted for the Greatest Voice in Hindi Cinema in the CNN-IBN's poll.



He has recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and has sung songs in various regional Indian languages as well as foreign languages, though primarily in Hindi-Urdu and Punjabi over which he had a strong command. He has recorded as many as 7405 songs in many languages. He has sung in many regional Indian languages including Konkani, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Odia, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Sindhi, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Magahi, Maithili. Apart from Indian languages, he also sang songs in many foreign languages including English, Farsi, Arabic, Sinhala, Creole and Dutch.

(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਕੱਚਾ ਘੜਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ (ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭੀ ਸਾਥ ਆਖ਼ਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਟੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਤੇ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਿੱਝਣਾ ਮੂਰਖਤਾ ਹੈ) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ) ਖਿੱਝ ਮੁੱਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸ (ਸਦਾ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ (ਆਕੜਿਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਮ੍ਰਤਾ ਧਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ।



(हे भाई! जैसे) कच्चा घड़ा जरूर नाश होने वाला है (वैसे ही माया से भी साथ आखिर अवश्य टूटता है। माया के मान में दूसरोंके साथ खीझना मूर्खता है) जिस मनुष्य के अंदर (माया के मान के कारण पैदा हुई) खीझ नहीं रहती, उसका निवास (सदा) प्रभु-चरणों में रहता है।(हे भाई! माया में) जो मनुष्य सिर ऊँचा किए रखता है (अकड़ा फिरता है) वह आत्मिक मौत के गड्ढे में पड़ा रहता है। पर, जो मनुष्य सदा विनम्रता धारता है उसे आत्मिक मौत छू नहीं सकती।

Yogmaya said, "Kansa, your killer has already taken birth."

No one remembers the girl baby born on the same day who was interchanged with Krishna, a boy baby, to save his life. The boy's life was precious but the girl was born to sacrifice her life. Today is not only the birthday of Krishna but also of Yogamaya.

It is said that Yogmaya flew off to Heavens freeing herself from the clutches of Kansa while announcing to Kansa that your killer has been born. Scriptures do not clearly mention that she too got killed like other siblings of Krishna. However more knowledgeable are requested to throw light on it.

Yogmaya was also an incarnation of Shakti who came to be born along with the incarnation of Lord Vishnu to keep some old promise. When Kansa caught her by her feet and hurled her to the ground, she flew towards the heaven, saying "Kansa, your killer has already taken birth. I could have also killed you but since you caught me by my feet, I take it as your expression of humility and am pardoning you".



Krishna was born in the darkness of the night, into the locked confines of a jail.

However, at the moment of his birth, all the guards fell asleep, the chains were broken and the barred doors gently opened.

Similarly, as soon as Krishna (Chetna, Awareness) takes birth in our hearts, all darkness (Negativity) fades.

All chains (Ego, I, Me, Myself) are broken.

And all prison doors we keep ourselves in (Caste, Religion, Profession, Relations etc)  are opened.

And that is the real Message And Essence of Janmashtmi.🙏💐🙏
