BBC: Research suggests that Corona may be prevented by a cold influenza virus

Some scientists say that the common cold-cold virus can eject the corona virus from the human body. There are some viruses that fight other viruses to infect the human body. The common cold-cold virus is also similar. Scientists at the University of Glasgow say that it seems that the rhino virus responsible for colds and colds can defeat the corona virus. Scientists also said that even though the benefit of rhino virus may remain for a while, it spreads in the human body so much that it can help reduce the effect of corona virus.

Today's extract from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji from Page #385

Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal living Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion. The Adi Granth, its first rendition, was compiled by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev (1563–1606). Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, did not add any of his own hymns; however, he added all 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib and is sometimes also referred to as Adi Granth.

BJP Leaders about the Corona Pandemic - compiled by The Wire

With remarks ranging from flippant and insensitive to downright dangerous, BJP leaders have led the pack on 'what not to say in the middle of a pandemic'.
Here's Seraj Ali's video report inspired by Jahnavi Sen's article for The Wire.

It has been 414 days since the World Health Organisation (WHO) first declared COVID-19 infections to be a pandemic and 389 days since Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the country that "21 days" of lockdown was all that was needed to "win the war" against the coronavirus. In the interim, India has seen the number of active COVID-19 cases rise, then fall and now quickly rise again, as a severe second wave of infections spreads across the country.

India today has 1.93 million active COVID-19 cases, which is nearly double its active case load at the time of the first wave last year.

Time may have passed, but our leaders' understanding of how this virus spreads and what measures need to be taken to curb it does not seem to be benefitting from science, the experiences before them or even common sense. Making remarks ranging from flippant and insensitive to downright dangerous, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have led the pack on 'what not to say in the middle of a pandemic'.

Here is a list of examples put together by The Wire of things BJP leaders have said over the last two months, but shouldn't have.
