Today's extract from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji

ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਹਰੀ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਭੀ ਥਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ, ਉਹ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਆ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਪਰ ਉਹ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ (ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਹੋਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।

हे भाई! जो हरी इस लोक में और परलोक में मित्र बनता है, उसका नाम-धन इकट्ठा करना चाहिए।हे भाई! जिस भी जगह परमात्मा की आराधना की जाए, वह मित्र परमात्मा वहीं आ के मददगार बनता है। (पर वह) परमात्मा गुरू की कृपा से (ही मनुष्य के) मन में बस सकता है, किसी भी और तरीके से उसको पाया नहीं जा सकता।

Golgappe (the famous Water Balls) - South Asian's favourite Street Food Snack

Prepared all the accompaniments that go into the golgappa, commonly known as, "water balls". 

They were served individually by making a hole in the centre of the balls and filling them with rest of the accompaniments. 

The potato masala that is made with some chana dal, diced potatoes, cumin, salt and paprika powder.

The chilled green tangy refreshing filler is made of fresh mint leaves and other spices.

The dark sweet sauce is made of tamarind and ginger powder.

मशहूर ज्योतिषी बेजन दारूवाला का निधन, कोरोना संक्रमण के बाद अस्पताल में थे भर्ती

मशहूर ज्योतिषी बेजन दारूवाला का शुक्रवार को निधन हो गया। 90 वर्षीय दारूवाला को कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमण के बाद अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। अहमदाबाद नगर निगम ने 22 मई को उनके कोरोना संक्रमित होने की पुष्टि की थी।

Bejan Daruwalla was an Indian astrology columnist. He has also served as a professor of English in Ahmedabad. Fahad Despite being of Parsi heritage, he was known to be an ardent follower of Lord Shri Ganesh.

He was a famous astrologer, been on ventilator support; fought COVID-19 and passed away on May 29, 2020.
