China contributed 70% of global exports for Christmas tree lighting sets and 90% for other Christmas decorations, excluding candles and natural trees, in 2022. Same year, China was the leading exporting country of Christmas decorations globally, with exports of such articles amounting to over 9.7 billion U.S. dollars. Netherlands and India were some of the other key suppliers of Christmas decorations worldwide.

 

Vietnam is one of the countries that exports the most Christmas decoration products to the US. Among its export products to the US, candles used at Christmas achieved impressive export turnover.

Candles are one of the Christmas decorations that countries export to the US market, besides Christmas trees, lights and other decorations.

China, Mexico and Cambodia are also on the list of countries that "dominate" the global market and supply chain for Christmas decorative items, in which shipment to the US is worth billions of dollars.

Mr. Banga, 63, served as chief executive of US payments giant MasterCard for 12 years before stepping down in December 2021. He is currently vice chairman of private equity firm General Atlantic.

During his leadership, the company's yearly revenue tripled to $15.3 billion, according to regulatory records.

According to US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Mr. Banga's track record of establishing alliances between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors will help him mobilise private resources and push for important reforms.

She claimed that Mr. Banga's initiatives have increased economic opportunities, helped deploy private capital into climate solutions, and brought 500 million unbanked individuals into the digital economy.

He will be better able to achieve the World Bank's goals of eradicating extreme poverty and fostering shared prosperity as a result of his experience, according to Ms. Yellen. He will also be better able to pursue the necessary changes to effectively evolve the institution and make it suitable for the world we live in today.

Renaming of Mughal Gardens Now!!

Amrit Udyan, originally Mughal Gardens, which spans 15 acres, has frequently been referred to as the soul of the city.
