Karwat, India Waterfall Incident

KARWAR: Six people, including four women, drowned on Sunday at the Nagaramadi waterfalls, located about 14 km from Karwar. Police said that about 40 tourists from Goa had come in different groups to visit the waterfalls. Around 2 pm the water in the creek started increasing and some of the tourists who were inside the water came out. But six people who could not make it to the shore were swept away in the gushing waters.

The entire drowning incident of four women and a man was recorded by one of the tourists at the spot. A man from another group also washed away during the same time.

Be careful when bathing in waterfalls… water due to rain in some higher up regions can flow in suddenly and cause havoc like this.

Please show it to your friends and children so they may also understand and stay safe...

COVID & Hair Dye: Reports of allergic reactions & how worried you should be

One woman told the BBC her reaction to a hair dye was "severe" after she suffered from COVID, with her hairdresser saying other clients had also reported rashes and burns.

The NHS says that some people are prone to a skin reaction called contact dermatitis, which leaves their skin red, dry and inflamed when they come into contact with certain chemicals.

Many hair dyes contain a chemical called paraphenylenediamine (PPD), which is a known irritant and allergen, and is the main culprit for allergic reactions.
