Sonu Sood - AN ODE TO THE HERO OF OUR TIMES

2020 has perhaps been the most challenging time of this century. It took a toll on millions and millions across the world. There was a deafening silence on roads, in homes, and across borders. From what seemed like a tunnel with no light at the end, there came a ray of hope from one voice. The voice of a hero, one who rose to the occasion and brought loved ones together.

SpiceJet salutes Sonu Sood for his unflinching efforts to reunite families. Together, SpiceJet and Sonu Sood helped in repatriating over 2.5 lakh Indians and evacuated many others.

Be Good & Kind to Seniors

Our parents are the ones who have brought us up and made us what we are. At least
out of consideration for that much, we should be good and kind towards them. But countless people all over India don't think so, going by the numbers of abandoned old people taken in at old age homes. Then there are some older people who take matters into their own hands -- be it romance or adventure sport.

Today's extract from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji from Page #119

Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal living Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion. The Adi Granth, its first rendition, was compiled by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev (1563–1606). Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, did not add any of his own hymns; however, he added all 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib and is sometimes also referred to as Adi Granth.
