ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਨ: ਅੰਗ #੩੧ | Today's extract from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji from Page #31

ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੱਭ ਪਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੀਤਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।


गुरु की रजा में नाम-अमृत है (जो रजा में चलता है) वह आत्मिक अडोलता में टिक के अंम्रित पीता है। जिस मनुष्यों को अमृत मिल गया, उन्होंने अपने अंदर के अहंकार को दूर करके ही इसे पीया। हे नानक! गुरु की शरण पड़ कर प्रभु का नाम स्मरणा चाहिए। (नाम जपने की इनायत से) सदा स्थिर प्रभु में मेल हो जाता है।

Guru Granth Sahib is the central religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal living Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion. The Adi Granth, its first rendition, was compiled by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev (1563–1606). Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, did not add any of his own hymns; however, he added all 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib and is sometimes also referred to as Adi Granth.

ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਮ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂਸੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਤਰਜਮਾ, ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ (1563–1606) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਕਲਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਸਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ; ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਇਸਨੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ 115 ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਸ ਪਾਠ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਦੂਜਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

People Are More Likely to Contract Covid-19 at Home



A study published in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on July 16 looked in detail at 5,706 "index patients" who had tested positive for the coronavirus and more than 59,000 people who came into contact with them.

The findings showed just two out of 100 infected people had caught the virus from non-household contacts, while one in 10 had contracted the disease from their own families.

South Korean epidemiologists have found that people were more likely to contract the new coronavirus from members of their own households than from contacts outside the home.
