मेरे वाहेगुरु, मुझमें मेरा तो कुछ भी नहीं, जो कुछ भी है, वह सब आपका ही दिया हुआ है। इसलिए तेरी ही वस्तु तुझे सौंपते मेरा क्या लगता है, क्या आपत्ति हो सकती है मुझे?

Kabir affirms that all things of man belong to the Almighty Father as his grant of grace to man. As such, why should there be any hesitation on the part of man to give all that to the God, the giver?

Today's extract from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji

(ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ!) ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ) ਮੈਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਫਲ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਭੀ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ) ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

(हे मेरे मन!) जब मैं उस प्रभू को अच्छा लगता हूँ (अर्थात, जब वह मेरे पर खुश होता है) तब ही मैं उसकी सिफत सालाह कर सकता हूँ, तब ही (उसकी मेहर से ही) मैं सिफत सालाह का फल पा सकता हूँ। सिफत सालाह करने का जो फल है ( कि सदा उसके चरनों में लीन रहा जा सकता है, ये भी तभी प्राप्त होता है) जब वह प्रभू खुद ही (प्रसन्न हो के) देता है।

प्रवासी मज़दूर 83 लिट्टियाँ, 30 चपाती, 5 प्लेट चावल रोजाना संगरोध (Quarantine) केंद्र में खाता है

बिहार के बक्सर के एक संगरोध केंद्र में एक प्रवासी श्रमिक के भोजन ने रसोइयों को कम से कम 10 और व्यक्तियों के लिए भोजन तैयार करने के लिए मजबूर किया है। बक्सर ज़िले के सिमरी प्रखंड अंतर्गत मझवारी पंचायत में एक प्रवासी मज़दूर अनूप ओझा के पास एक समय में 83 लिट्टियाँ, 30 चपातियां, 5 प्लेट चावल हुआ करता था। सिमरी प्रखंड विकास अधिकारी अजय कुमार सिंह ने कहा, 'खरहा टंड मुखिया ने मुझसे आग्रह किया कि उनका संगरोध केंद्र खाली हो और आसपास के क्षेत्रों के प्रवासी श्रमिकों को वहां रखा जाए। 

प्रवासी श्रमिकों के अनुरोध पर, लिटि-चोका को नियमित भोजन योजना के बजाए रात के खाने के रूप में पकाया गया था। उस दिन अनूप ने हमारे जाने से पहले 83 लिट्टियों का सेवन किया। जबकि सामान्य व्यक्ति रात के खाने में चावल की आंशिक रूप से भरी हुई प्लेट खा सकता है, अनूप ने रात के खाने में चावल से भरी हुई कम से कम पांच से छह प्लेट का सेवन किया। समान अनुपात में सब्जी के साथ एक समय में उसका सामान्य आहार 30-35 चपातियों का होता है। अनूप के लिए, संगरोध केंद्र में अतिरिक्त भोजन पकाया गया था और निर्देश जारी किए गए थे कि उसे अपनी भूख को पूरा करने के लिए आवश्यक भोजन की मात्रा प्रदान की जाए।''
