Paris Whitney Hilton was on born February 17, 1981 and is an American media personality, businesswoman, socialite, model, singer, actress, and DJ. She is a great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. Born in New York City and raised there and in Beverly Hills, California, Hilton began her modeling career as a teenager when she signed with New York-based modeling development agency Trump Model Management. David Lachapelle soon photographed her for the September 2000 issue of Vanity Fair. Her late-night persona and reputation as a socialite made her a fixture of tabloid journalism, and Hilton was proclaimed "New York's leading It Girl" in 2001. In 2003, a leaked 2001 tape with her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon, later released as 1 Night in Paris, catapulted her into global fame, and the reality television series The Simple Life, in which she starred with her friend and socialite counterpart Nicole Richie, started its five-year run with 13 million viewers, on Fox.

Inside Norway's $47 Billion Floating Highway

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration is in the process of creating the world’s first floating highway. The Coastal Highway Route E39 will cut down a 21 hour travel time between the Norwegian cities of Kristiansand in the south and Trondheim in the north by at least half through the elimination of seven different ferry crossings. These crossings will be replaced with bridges, tunnels, and the innovative new Submerged Floating Tube Bridges which give the Coastal road its nickname. But Norway has its work cut out for it, as a project of this size and scale with the use of the floating tunnels has yet to be completed anywhere else in the world-- and attempting the historic roadway project will cost more than $47 billion.

 

With many fjords to safely traverse, the project is getting help from Universities, researchers and engineers all over the country. Though the project isn’t expected to be completed until 2050, they’ve already got a head start on constructing their first floating tunnel called the Rogaland Fixed Link or Rogfast. While the construction has allowed them to work out some kinks, it’s also cost $2 billion so far-- and that budget is growing. Norway aims to maintain its pristine natural beauty with these hidden highways, but first they have to figure out how travelers can remain safe at 150 feet underwater. Dragging a player's wife while criticising him was definitely not the right choice for Sunil Gavaskar. The former cricketer-turned-commentator took a dig at Virat Kohli and said that he only trained against Anushka's balls during the lockdown.

"Inhone lockdown me to bas Anushka ki gendon ki practice ki hai," said Sunil Gavaskar after Virat Kohli failed to deliver with the bat during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. 

"इन्होने लॉक डाउन में तो बस अनुष्का की गेंदों की प्रैक्टिस की है"

Sunil Gavaskar came up with a surprising comment for the India captain. And while he didn't really mean any disrespect for the RCB captain and his wife - Anushka Sharma, one can say that his comment was perhaps uncalled for and highly personal.

CDC Acknowledges Coronavirus can Spread through the Air

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s page still says Covid-19 most commonly spreads between people who are in close contact with one another, and now says the virus is known to spread "through respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings, talks or breathes."

These particles can cause infection when "inhaled into the nose, mouth, airways, and lungs," it says. "This is thought to be the main way the virus spreads."

"There is growing evidence that droplets and airborne particles can remain suspended in the air and be breathed in by others, and travel distances beyond 6 feet (for example, during choir practice, in restaurants, or in fitness classes)," the page now says. "In general, indoor environments without good ventilation increase this risk."

The CDC also added new measures to its information about protecting yourself and others.

Good News for Railway Passengers in India

Now AC will be available in Sleeper and General Class without any extra charges. Passengers will be able to travel comfortably at low cost.

Indian Railways has prepared a plan to convert sleeper and non-reserved category i.e. unreserved coaches into AC coaches.

Sleeper Coach to become Economics AC 3 Tire Coach

According to the Railway Officer, the upgraded sleeper class coach of the train will be called the Economic AC 3 Tier Class Coach. General coaches of unreserved coaches will also be converted into AC coaches. This will be the category coach between AC-3 tier class and non-AC sleeper class coach.

₹3 crore will be spent on making each coach.

According to a report published in an English newspaper: Indian Express, work has started in Kapurthala Rail Coach Factory, Punjab on this plan of Railways. Its prototype is being prepared. The upgraded AC coach will have 83 berths instead of 72 berths.

San Francisco is Mystically Orange

San Francisco has turned orange. Residents of the city woke to find the sky still dark and glowing a deep brooding orange as smoke from near-by wildfires blocked the sun. Smoke particles "only allow yellow-orange-red light to reach the surface, causing skies to look orange", the Bay Area Air Quality Management District explained. Some 14,000 firefighters are battling 28 major blazes across California, amid a historic heatwave. Amazon is filled with fake reviews and it's getting harder to spot them

Thousands of fake reviews have flooded Amazon, Walmart, eBay and others, as sales have skyrocketed.

Being "reviews" the one big metric customers have relied on to determine the quality and authenticity of a product. Amazon's listings often have a lot more of reviews, instead of the handful found on competing marketplaces.

In July, 2020 UCLA and USC released a study that found more than 20 fake review related Facebook groups with an average of 16,000 members. In more than 560 postings each day, sellers offered a refund or payment for a positive review.
